Ukraine Sunflower Cause Bars

Ukraine Sunflower Cause Bars

With $2 of every Ukraine Sunflower cause bar going to World Central Kitchen’s efforts to feed Ukrainian, these gentle, low-suds soap bars make beautiful gifts and brighten up the soap dish.

WHAT’S IN THE BAR

The bright yellow sunflowers are made with coconut oil, shea butter, Meadowfoam seed oil from Oregon, Brazilian clay, mica, and lemongrass essential oil. The blue base is also made with coconut oil, shea butter, Meadowfoam seed oil from Oregon, activated charcoal, mica, and natural pear fragrance oil.

The combination of lemongrass and pear is heady. The warm citrus of lemongrass co mined with a hint of slightly dry pear is uplifting and calming. When you wash your hands or body, you’ll see the bar is  a gentle, low-suds bubble maker, that rinses clean and leaves your skin clean and happy.

ABOUT MEADOWFOAM SEED OIL

Soaps for Good works to bring consumers closer to the Oregon growlers and farmers who produce great oils, essential oils, and botanicals. Every bar of Soaps for Good soap includes at least one Oregon-grown ingredient.

So why Meadowfoam Seed Oil. For the science-minded among us, you’ll love knowing that this oil closely matches the skins natural sebum. Translation? Doesn’t clog the pores. Its long chain fatty acids are chocked full on antioxidants. Similar in profile to Jojoba Oil, Meadowfoam Seed Oil is hydrating without being greasy and adds a slight yellow tinge to our sunflowers.

Meadowfoam helps us meet our sustainability goals, too. Native to Oregon, it is grown without pesticides or fertilizers, and is noted as a fast-growing, highly renewable crop. In addition to helping us take care of our skin, the seeds and grasses provide nutrients to birds and insects.
